Amazon Cloud Drive

Despite Amazon’s huge outage last night I am going to give Amazon’s Cloud Drive a test run and see what it is like. I have just installed the Cloud Drive desktop app, which works similarly to iDisk when MobileMe was around. You can either right-click on a file and send it to Amazon’s Cloud Drive or you can drag and drop a file directly to the cloud icon on the menu bar.

You get 5GB’s by default and then you have to pay for any additional space. I’ve previously expressed an interest in the $20 per year subscription for 20GB’s of storage, but I am holding off paying anything for now.
